Texas Roadhouse - Apple Valley: Family-Friendly Steaks & Warm Hospitality in MN

I know this is way overdue, but better late than never! I had an incredible experience at Texas Roadhouse with my family. From the moment we stepped out of the car, the mouthwatering aroma coming from the restaurant made us hungry all over again. The steak? Absolutely phenomenal—hands down the best I’ve had. Paired with creamy mashed potatoes, it was comfort food at its finest. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Plenty of parking made the visit even smoother. If you’re craving great food and even better hospitality, this spot delivers. Five stars all around!

It was loud because a lot of people were celebrating birthdays. It was still nice as we too celebrated a birthday. Granddaughter got a cup of ice cream with chocolate sauce for it being her birthday. We had the sirloin, fries, mashed potato, strawberry lemonade, sweet tea,cactus blossom and new york strip. Everything we ordered was very good. The fresh dinner rolls are amazing. Cinnamon butter was SO good. First time we've had it. Grandkids gave a thumbs up. The waitress was the BEST waitress we have ever had anywhere. She was friendly, service with a smile and didn't rush us or have bad attitude because we took our time since it was our first time visiting. To me the prices were high because of the steak. Everything was very good. The place was clean. All the staff were friendly. We liked it. Spending time with family and enjoying a good meal. Will recommend to friends and family. Yes we will be back. Awesome waitress , good food and family. Can't beat that. I liked how they posted its not a peanut free place outside the door.

Great servers! Steaming hot food! 10/10 experience! Frozen cocktails are a must. I’ll definitely be dining again!

Had outstanding service from the moment we entered through to the moment we left. Andy was our waitstaff and he was very helpful throughout our meal, ensuring that we had drinks (and refills before reaching the bottom of our glass). He kept us apprised of the meal prep progress and let us know about the menu item outage (prime rib) after we had already ordered and were awaiting our meals. He gave us other menu options, reduced price, and threw in some shrimps to sweeten the issue! I have already recommended this restaurant to friends and look forward to eating here again the next time I am in that part of town.

Usually my ‘go-to’ to feed my 21 and 23 year old. Steaks are ALWAYS cooked perfectly. Bummed tonight when I opened my 8oz sirloin carry out box and found the smallest portion of fries. I ordered a baked potatoe and steak fries for my two sides. Tonight after taking my baker out there were so few fries. Fries are cheap guys….you can do better.

This Texas Roadhouse location is fantastic! The service is always fast and friendly, and the food has never disappointed. Their frozen drinks are out of this world—perfect for an easy, fun, and affordable night out!

This was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse! It was very good! Our server Hannah was so nice and fast and had everything handled perfectly! I had the shrimp and sweet potato with green beans and the other two at my table had 2 different kinds of chicken and they were both eating off of each other's plates and nodding in approval The cocktail sauce they make themselves and it was making me sneeze but SO WORTH IT! Love horseradish! There is a lot going on there so be ready for that. Def will go back and hopefully have Hannah again.

The food was very tasty but a little pricey. However, food in most restaurants now is a bit pricey, so I shouldn't complain. I've been to Texas Roadhouse before in other states, my first time in Minnesota, I'm glad they're nearby. I really like that when you are seated, they give you fresh hot rolls and honey butter right away, It motivates me to order a drink! Another nice touch., unique to Texas Roadhouse are the peanuts at every table. My only food complaint was that the baked potato was not warm. I should have said something but I was a bit shy since it was my first time there. Otherwise the steak items and other sides were very good. I had a tasty tossed salad served on a very cold plate. My son ordered the country steak and he said that's the best chicken fried steak he's ever had. I liked the "Roadkill" entree which is a chopped steak with onions, mushroom and cheese on top, cooked as ordered. The service was very friendly and efficient, Even a manager stopped by to see how things were. It's a fun, interesting atmosphere at Texas Roadhouse. They were raising money for breast cancer this month, that's a good thing. We will definitely go back.
